Tools we run ourselves

SelfPost, SelfSend, SelfScribe, and Heimdall: our own tools for social publishing, email campaigns, voice input, and project oversight.

We build tools around the work behind the studio: preparing posts, managing email campaigns, dictating into the apps we use, and keeping track of projects. Each tool has a specific job and a way for us to inspect what it is doing.

The AI has a defined role in each workflow. It drafts content, transcribes speech, or works with project context. The surrounding software handles schedules, queues, delivery status, and access. Here is what that looks like in our own tools.

The tools and their jobs

SelfPost

Social publishing

A composer and scheduled queue for text and image posts across connected social accounts, with delivery status in one place.

Where AI helps. Claude generates post drafts from channel settings and can compose, schedule, and inspect posts through a connected assistant. Draft checks help catch repeated content and platform length limits.

How we stay in control. Posts can be edited or cancelled before publication. Scheduling and delivery run through the publishing queue, with failures surfaced for attention.

SelfSend

Email campaigns

A multi-brand email workspace for subscribers, groups, reusable templates, scheduled campaigns, and delivery tracking.

Where AI helps. A connected assistant can create and save templates, send test emails, and schedule campaigns through SelfSend's API.

How we stay in control. Templates and test sends can be checked before a campaign is scheduled. The application manages delivery, unsubscribes, and bounce handling.

SelfScribe

Voice input

Push-to-talk dictation for Windows. Hold a hotkey, speak, and the transcript goes to the cursor in the active app, including a coding terminal.

Where AI helps. Whisper transcribes speech through a hosted or local backend. Optional cleanup uses Claude or a local model to remove filler and improve punctuation.

How we stay in control. Dictation and dictate-and-send use separate hotkeys. Vocabulary and per-app cleanup settings keep names and technical prompts usable.

Heimdall

Project oversight

A mission-control dashboard that brings together pull requests, deployments, errors, project notes, and calendar context from configured integrations.

Where AI helps. The built-in assistant works from the dashboard's current brief to answer questions about priorities and propose next actions.

How we stay in control. Proposed actions are shown for confirmation before execution. The dashboard provides the source context behind the conversation.

The supporting tools matter too

SelfSafe

Keeps application credentials in encrypted storage and resolves them when needed.

Our blog publishing workflow takes a queued draft, validates it, and checks the site build before publishing. These are supporting tools and automation, not AI content generators.

Still being developed

SEO Forge

Brings together audits, keyword research, content drafts, approval, and reporting.

LeadForge

Being developed around business discovery, contact enrichment, and outreach.

Both have implementation and rollout work to distinguish from a fully running service.

What job should your tool handle?

Bring us the task you repeat, the systems it touches, and the decisions that need your approval. We will scope a tool around that workflow, with a clear role for AI and a clear way to check the result.
